# How to create a new VPN account?

1. Open Shimo **Preferences… **

2. In the Accounts tab, click on the little + to add a new VPN account

3. Choose a VPN account type 

4. Click **Create… **

5. Enter your Remote Host, Username and Password

6. That’s it, your VPN account is ready to connect.
