# How to set up tigerVPN?

Using the following setup instructions, you can connect to tigerVPN using Shimo.

How to Configure:

1. Download and purchase Shimo from here

2. Install Shimo following the onscreen instructions. When prompted, enter your Mac OS X username and password to authorise the configuration.

3. Open Shimo Preferences… in the menu.

4. Select the + symbol and click **Get special offer

   ---

5. Subscribe to a tigerVPN plan or start the free trial.

6. Open Shimo Preferences again and click Import Configurations****

7. Enter your tigerVPN account ID & User Password. You can find your tigerID and tigerPW  in your tigerVPN dashboard 

8. Select a tigerVPN server location
